fa تشکیل بانک ژنتیک برای بررسی‌های ژنتیکی و اپی‌ژنتیکی در اختلال‌های روانپزشکی The Establishment of Iranian DNA Bank for Genetic and Epigenetic Studies in Psychiatric Disorders روانپزشکی و روانشناسی Psychiatry and Psychology پژوهشي اصيل Original Research هدف: در بیشترکشورهای پیشرفته جهان بانک‌های بافتی، اسید دئوکسی‌ریبونوکلئیک و اسید ریبونوکلئیک برای بررسی های ژنتیکی در انواع اختلال های پزشکی ساخته شده تا با تصویب پروژه‌ای پژوهشی نمونه‌ها به پژوهشگران واگذار گردد و از هدررفتن وقت و هزینه برای آماده‌سازی هر پروژه جلوگیری شود. در این بانک‌ها بیماران بر پایه معیارهای تشخیصی بین‌المللی به‌دقت ارزیابی می‌شوند. از این رو جمع‌بندی یافته‌ها از توافق‌پذیری بالاتری نسبت به پژوهش‌های پراکنده برخوردار بوده و امکان انجام بررسی‌های فراتحلیل بر روی یافته‌های به‌دست آمده در آزمایش‌های گوناگون فراهم می‌شود. روش: برای ساخت چنین بانکی برای اختلال‌های روانپزشکی در جامعه ایرانی، پس از روشن‌سازی هدف‌ها و گرفتن رضایت‌نامه از بیماران و انجام مصاحبه بالینی ساختاریافته برای اختلال‌های محور یک DSM-IV SCID-I))، 300 نمونه بزاقی به‌کمک کیت اوراژن اسید دئوکسی‌ریبونوکلئیک گردآوری شده و داده‌های جمعیت‌ شناختی، سابقه خانوادگی، زمان شروع و طول بیماری، داروهای مصرفی و مانند آنها در پرونده بیماران ثبت گردید و امکان ارتباط با آنها برای تکمیل اطلاعات و بررسی سیر بیماری فراهم شد. یافته‌ها: بانک نمونه بزاقی برای استخراج اسید دئوکسی‌ریبونوکلئیک از 300 بیمار روانپزشکی شامل اختلال دو قطبی، اسکیزوفرنیا، اختلال افسردگی اساسی، اختلال وسواسی- اجباری و اختلال بیش فعالی با کمبود توجه از میان بیماران بیمارستان‌های روانپزشکی، هم‌چنین سی تن از بستگان درجه اول بیماران دچار اختلال دوقطبی و اسکیزوفرنیا و 100 نفر به عنوان گروه گواه که با دو گروه پیشین همتا سازی شده بودند گردآوری شد. نتیجه‌گیری: امکان اهداء نمونه های اسید دئوکسی‌ریبونوکلئیک برای بررسی‌های ملی یا بین‌المللی فراهم شده است. Objectives: In most advanced countries, there are tissue, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and ribonucleic acid (RNA) banks which have been made to provide samples for researchers in order to speed up genetic studies in different medical disorders. This may save time and materials in comparison to self-governing projects that usually spend months to collect samples independently. In these banks patients are cautiously diagnosed based on international diagnostic criteria. Thus, the results are more reliable than scattered studies and meta-analysis can be done with the data generated in different laboratories using the same samples. Method: For the establishment of a DNA bank for psychiatric disorders in Iran, after clarifying the aims and signing the consent forms, 300 saliva samples were collected using Oragene DNA Kit from the patients diagnosed based on the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV Axis I Disorders (SCID-I). Related data to demographics, family history, date of disorder onset, duration of disorder, drugs in use and other variables were compiled and opportunity for future contacts was set to gather more information including the course of disorders. Results: A saliva bank for DNA extraction of 300 psychiatric patients suffering from schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, 30 ones relatives as well as 75 matched healthy control subjects for genetic and epigenetic studies was established.
