Method: The study sample consisted of 90 persons (45 runaway girls and 45 control probands) selected using convenience sampling. Participants completed the Inventory of Parents and Peer Attachment (IPPA), Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS) and Adolescents Coping Scale (ACS). The data were analyzed through the independent t-test and Pearson correlation.
