In this study, coping strategies, perceived self efficacy , and attitude of two groups of normal and neurotic persons toward stressful lfe events were investigated, The normal group included 104 individuals and the neurotic group consisted of 40 patients. Copuyning streategies, perceived self-efficacy, and attitude toward life events questionnaired were used inthis study.

The findings indicated significant differences between two groups on the using of coping streategies and perceived self-efficacy. Also, there were significant correlations between the problem focused copings, dysfunctional copings, emotional reducing focused copings and self-efficacy and attitude toward life events.
